Ivana Alawi sure knows how to please fans.

Seemingly sensing how the incessant rain might have keep some of them sulking indoors, the actress took to social media to post a photo meant to warm their hearts.

Note the photo is her most daring yet.

Indeed, where prior she is only too happy to display her God-given assets wearing the skimpiest of bikinis, this time, the 26-year-old hottie decided to do away with her top.

Not that she actually displayed her chest full-on.

She has one arm covering much of it.

But it was enough for fans who eagerly showered it with more than 300,000 likes.

Note that Ivana recently signed with ABS-CBN anew, promising fans more exciting films, series, to come.

Ria Atayde: ‘Go ahead, call me fat’

Ria Atayde has no problem being called fat.

She has long learned to love and accept her figure.

The actress said proudly, “Beauty comes in all forms and sizes. What matters most is how you feel about yourself."

Inasmuch as she has learned to be confident in her own skin, Ria is also hoping others of her ilk would follow suit noting, “Kung magpapa-apekto ka sa sinasabi ng iba, then wala, your whole life will be affected.”

It is mainly why she agreed to pose as calendar girl for a liquor brand.

“I want to show people that despite our flaws we could be confident in our own skin,” she said, pushing for body positivity.

“Body positivity is all about embracing yourself and understanding yourself,” she noted.

"In this day and age, it is high time we put more importance on this than body shaming."

Ria maintained, “We don’t know what some people are going through. Maybe they look the way they do because it is a choice or maybe they’re going through something.”

The actress then revealed how she has been living sans a gallbladder, that body part which break down and absorb fats from food. More, she is battling hypothyroidism.

She said, “I have hypothyroidism. So, my metabolism is slower than usual. I have no gallbladder. Losing weight is a lot harder for me than it is for other people. So, go ahead. Call me fat. Anong magagawa niyo?”

She related how some friends in showbiz struggle to embrace their bodies because of the intense scrutiny.

“It can be ruthless,” she said.

“That’s why I am advocating for body positivity to do my part in helping those struggling with unreasonably harsh criticism.”

Sexy star Angela Perez passes away

Angela Perez, former actress who gained fame in the 80s appearing in a slew of sexy films, succumbed to stroke Wednesday.

She was 55.

Her death was confirmed by her daughter Issa Lim in a social media post.

Issa wrote, “Ikaw ang pinakamahal ko sa buhay, naging spoiled ako sa yo at ikaw lang nakakaintindi sa akin kapag may mga problema ako at kung bakit wala ako sa mood, at ikaw pa yung nagtatanggol sa akin pag may umaaway sa akin at kinakampihan mo ko lagi. Lagi tayong magkakasama, hindi pa naman ako sanay na hindi kita katabi o kayakap pag wala ka at mahal na mahal kita sobra Ma. Pinakamasakit sa akin na mawalan ako ng nanay at nawala pa ang mahal ko sa buhay. Nanginginig ako sa kakaiyak ko at nalulungkot pa rin ako nang sobra hanggang ngayon. I love you so much, Ma."

Angela’s sister, Cathy Mora, herself a former actress, also expressed sadness over her passing via a post.

“I am so heartbroken. You left too soon. You know how much I love you. I am at a loss for words…Thank you so much for everything, my beautiful sister. I will never forget you. Mahal na mahal na mahal kita, Ate ko,” she wrote.

Actress Melissa Mendez posted, “It is with deep sorrow that my dearest friend Angela Perez has passed. I’m still processing it that she left us this early. My heart is broken…”

Born Rowena Mora, Angela was introduced in the1983 film "Laruan" under the now defunct Falcon Films.

It made a huge splash, allowing her to do other, more “daring” films, including "Alexandra," "Nang Maghalo ang Balat sa Tinalupan," "Take-home Girls" and "Hayop sa Sarap."

Maegan Aguilar to father Freddie: ‘Kailangan ko kayo ngayon’

Maegan Aguilar reached out publicly to her father, iconic singer-songwriter Freddie Aguilar, in an effort to patchy things between them.

In an appearance on “Raffy Tulfo in Action,” Maegan maintained she is not out to create controversy coming out to air her rift with her father.

According to her, she only did so as last recourse. 

She said, “Hindi po ako makalapit kay Tatay. Hindi ko po ma-explain ‘yung dahilan…he has his reasons na hindi ko na po alam kung ano ‘yun. Kaya wala po akong ibang choice kung hindi lumapit sa iba.”

Apart from ending their estrangement, Maegan is reaching out to Freddie to ask for financial assistance.

Apparently, she needs to be hospitalized due to hyperthyroidism.

Her message to her dad:

“‘Tay, wala po kasi akong ibang tatay, kayo lang. Hindi ko na po alam kung paano ito ayusin, unless din po na maging willing din kayo na tanggapin ako for who I am, what I am. Kasi ‘yun po ang ginagawa kahit sa magkakaibigan lang. Tinatanggap po nila ang isa’t isa for what they are, kahit may mga flaws, kahit hindi perfect. Ako po ‘yun. ‘Tay, I am imperfect. I am flawed. I don’t know how to fix, ‘Tay, pero sa totoo lang kasi kailangan ko kayo ngayon…

“‘Tay I needed to stay pa sa hospital kasi nga personally wala na po kaming pera…kumbaga ‘Tay hindi pa ako dapat nandito ngayon, dapat po nasa ospital pa ako.

“Siguro nga po ‘Tay, may purpose pa ako kay God, may purpose pa ako as a human being at may purpose pa ako bilang anak niyo. Siguro po, ‘Tay, dapat magkaayos tayo at some point. Bago tayo mawala at wala nang chance para ayusin ang lahat.”

The people behind the program tried to reach out to Freddie but he refused to speak on the matter on air.

The Miss Universe Philippines organization has released Miss Universe-Philippines 2022 titleholder Celeste Cortesi’s official headshot.

The photo, made available via Instagram Thursday, sees the 24-year old Filipino-Italian beauty queen from Pasay looking all-too fierce, ready.

The organization wrote, “The Miss Universe season is upon us! Here’s the official headshot of Miss Universe Philippines 2022 Celeste Cortesi.” 

It went on to urge fans, “Show support for our candidate in the 71st Miss Universe Competition by heading over to the link in our bio to vote.”

“Let’s make our Miss Universe dreams come true, Philippines,” it added.

The pageant will be held January next year in New Orleans.

Heart Evangelista to appear in ‘Bling Empire’

Heart Evangelista will appear in Season 3 of Netflix’s “Bling Empire.”

The actress took to Twitter recently to tease fans about it.

She wrote, “Bling on Netflix in about 30ish minutes ?:) see you”

In a separate tweet, Heart thanked “Bling Empire” stars Kane Lim and Kelly Mi Li for the opportunity.

She said, “It was a fun cameo. Thank you Bling Empire for the sweetest party  to Kane and Kelly you are angels  “

Rumors about her appearance in the show started August last year.
