MANILA, Philippines — Step aside ghouls and ghastly things, it's time to celebrate Christmas again.

Many areas around the country are beginning their Yuletide celebrations, many of which the public can take part in.

Some of them come in the form of shows and experiences, and the occasional heart stopping concerts will never be amiss even as the year draws to a close.


Here are several of the concerts, events, and productions happening in November:

Hori7oN: Daytour - Anchor High (November 3)

South Korea-based Filipino boy band Hori7on stages its second concert at the Mall of Asia Arena.


Yugyeom: Trusty (November 3)

Yugeyeom of the Korean boy band Got7 is taking his "[TRUSTY]" tour to the SM North EDSA Skydome.


Tate McRae: Think Later (November 4)

Canadian singer-songwriter Tate McRae is performing at Quezon City's New Frontier Theater to promote her sophomore album released last year.


Lea Salonga: Stage, Screen & Everything in Between (November 4 to 5, 7)

Award-winning actress-singer Lea Salonga will helm her "Stage, Screen, and Everything in Between" concert for three nights at The Theatre at Solaire accompanied by her brother and accomplished conductor Gerard Salonga, as well as "American Idol" Season 2 runner-up Clay Aiken.


Michael Learns to Rock (November 5)

Danish rock band Michael Learns to Rock is coming back to the Philippines for its "Take Us To You Heart" tour, performing their greatest hits at the Mall of Asia Arena.


Ice Seguerra: Videoke Hits (November 8)

Singer-songwriter Ice Esguerra is restaging his "Videoke Hits" concert at San Juan's Music Museum following a sold-out show last September.


Streetboys (November 8)

Filipino boy group Streetboys reunites their members to celebrate their 31st year with a concert at the New Frontier Theater.


'Tabing Ilog the Musical' Rerun (November 8 to 10, 15 to 17, 22 to 24, 29 to 30)

Star Magic artists and theater veterans come together once more at the PETA Theater Center for a musical stage adaptation of the popular series "Tabing Ilog" that will feature the return of the beloved gang of James, Corrinne, George, Rovic, Eds, Badong and Fonzy.


Choi Jin-hyuk: Day and Night (November 9)

The Korean star of "Emergency Couple" and "The Last Empress" Choi Jin-hyuk will have a fan concert, named after his latest series "Miss Night and Day," at the New Frontier Theater.


South Border and Ella May Saison: Soundtrip Sessions Vol. 3 (November 9)

South Border and Ella May Saison are set to perform at The Theatre at Solaire for the third edition of "Soundtrip Sessions," a concert series featuring hits of Pinoy music icons that stuck through generations.


Matt Maltese (November 9)

British-Canadian singer-songwriter Matt Maltese is heading over to the Philippines again to perform at the SM North EDSA Skydome.


'Love Changes Everything' (November 9 and 10)

A performance of young student-artists from the La Salle Green Hills Music Ministry at the Globe Auditorium of Taguig's Maybank Performing Arts Theater.


'Jepoy and the Magic Circle' (November 9 to 10, 34, 30)

Repertory Philippines continues its run at its newly-inaugurated Eastwood Theater with the stage adaptation of Gilda Cordero-Fernando's "The Magic Circle."


Mr. and Mrs. Chinatown 2024 (November 10)

The 2024 edition of this popular pageant is taking place at the Newport Performing Arts Theater.


Incognito (November 10)

British acid jazz band Incognito will perform live in Manila for the first time in a decade at the New Frontier Theater.


Carols on Ice (November 10)

A Night at the Pops (November 15)

The Manila Symphony Orchestra will perform at the New Frontier Theater with Barbie Almabis, Lola Amour, Jason Dhakal, and Arthur Miguel.


Philippine Philharmonic Orchestra: Triumph (November 15)

The second concert of the Philippine Philharmonic Orchestra's 40th concert season where it will perform at Makati's Samsung Performing Arts Theater with Grammy-winning cellist Sara Sant’ Ambrogio for performances of Rimsky-Korsakov's "Capriccio Espagnol, op. 34," Edward Elgar's "Cello Concerto, op. 85, E minor," and Robert Schumann's "Symphony No. 2, op. 61, C Major."


'Sandosenang Sapatos' (November 15 to 17, 21 to 24, 29 to 30)

Tanghalang Pilipino begins its rerun of its musical about a shoemaker's child with no feet at the CCP Black Box Theater.


The Ridleys: Someday We'll Make A Home (November 16)

Alternative-folk band The Ridleys stages its first concert at the Music Museum in San Juan.


Vina Morales (November 16)

Actress-singer and the "Ultimate Performer" Vina Morales will perform at the ballroom of the Winford Resort & Casino with special guests Dindo Fernandez and Niña Campos.


2NE1 (November 16 and 17)

K-pop group 2NE1 included the Philippines in their reunion tour and, due to popular demand, even added a second night at the Mall of Asia Arena.


'Frozen in Concert' (November 16 and 17)

A film screening of the popular Disney movie "Frozen" at the Samsung Performing Arts Theater with the soundtrack and songs performed live by the Filharmonika Orchestra.


BINI: Grand BINIverse (November 16 to 18)

The Nation's Girl Group BINI will stage its three biggest sold-out concerts yet at the Araneta Coliseum.


David Pomeranz: Born For You (November 19)

Singer-songwriter David Pomeranz will perform at the Baguio Convention Center a string of his hits like "Got to Believe in Magic," "King and Queen of Hearts," and "Born For You."


Philippine Philharmonic Orchestra: Music, Movies, Magic  (November 22)

A fundraising concert at the Samsung Performing Arts Theater featuring a line-up consisting of beloved tracks and pieces from cinematic history, conducted by Gerard Salonga and featuring performances from Arman Ferrer, Lara Maigue, Cris Villonco, Diomedes Saraza, Camille Lopez-Molina, Jonathan Velasco, the Alice Reyes Dance Company, and the Philippine Madrigal Singers.


Rey Valera and Marco Sison: Ang Guwapo at Ang Masuwerte (November 22)

Music icons Marco Sison and Rey Valera team up for a show at San Juan's Music Museum accompanied by Asia's Best Singing Competition winners Elisha and Andrea Gutierrez.


'Florante at Laura' (November 22 to 24)

After a successful initial run at the Aliw Theater, Ballet Manila is restaging "Florante at Laura" at the Hyundai Hall in Areté, Ateneo de Manila University.


Stray Kids (November 23)

Korean boy band Stray Kids is coming back to the Philippines for its "Dominate" World Tour performing at the Philippine Arena, coincidentally where they were for last year's Asia Artist Awards.


Chen: Beyond the Door (November 23)

MANILA, Philippines — May was such a busy month that Filipinos may not have even realized 2024 is just about halfway through.

Still, June promises a lot of exciting events and concerts that are sure to battle the sweltering heat.

The first day of the month alone is packed — at least three Korean artists have something cooked up!

With so many happenings around the nation, there is no telling how well we're going to keep it together.


Here are several of the concerts, events and productions happening in June:


'IU: H.E.R.' (June 1)

Korean singer-actress IU brought her "H.E.R." world tour to the Philippine Arena — making her the first Korean soloist to perform in the venue — marking her return to the country in nearly five years.


TWICE: Snacktacular Fan Meet (June 1)

K-pop girl group Twice returned to the Philippines for a fan meet in Mall of Asia Arena, care of food company Oishi.


Darren Espanto: D10 (June 1)

Asia's Pop Heartthrob celebrated a decade in the music industry with a concert in Araneta Coliseum.


Jason Wade (June 1)

The lead vocalist of rock band Lifehouse performed the group's best hits at the New Frontier Theater in Quezon City.



'Bang Ye-dam: Be Your D' (June 1)

Korean singer Bang Ye-dam is holding his first fan meet in Manila in Samsung Hall, SM Aura, Taguig City.


Taste Cebu: Food and Wine Festival (June 1 and 2)

NUSTAR Resort and Casino hosted a gastronomic festival mirroring Cebu's diverse culture, landscape and dishes.


'Buruguduystunstugudunstuy: Ang Parokya Ni Edgar Musical' (June 1 and 2, 6 to 9, 13 to 16)

"Buruguduystunstugudunstuy," a musical based on the songs by popular Filipino rock band Parokya ni Edgar, ends its run in Newport Performing Arts Theater in Pasay City. 


'One More Chance the Musical' (June 1 to 30, except Mondays and Tuesdays)

The Philippine Educational Theater Association's musical adaptation of the 2007 film "One More Chance" using the songs of local band Ben&Ben also finishes its primary run in PETA Theater this month.


'Kitchie Nadal: Same Ground' (June 2)

Kitchie Nadal's 20th anniversary show was a homecoming concert in New Frontier Theater, featuring some special guests and closest musical peers.


'Marvel Universe LIVE!' (June 7 to 9, 12 to 16)

A superhero-filled show in Mall of Asia Arena featuring iconic Marvel teams, the Avengers and the Guardians of the Galaxy, teaming up to defend the universe.


'Bullet Dumas: Nananatili' (June 8)

Folk singer-songwriter Bullet Dumas is holding his first solo concert in six years in Music Museum in San Juan City.


'1OVE' (June 8)

The Beast House Pole and Aerial Dance Studio's 10th Anniversary Show and Student Showcase in The Theater at Solaire showcases various forms of love through breathtaking performances by both students and expert instructors.


Lola Amour (June 8 and 29)

Arguably the country's hottest band right now, Lola Amour is staging two concerts this month: first in Alabang Town Center in Muntinlupa City and then in The Cozy Cove in Baguio.


'B.I: Hype Up' (June 9)

Korean rapper B.I is coming back to Manila for his "Hype Up Asia" tour, and joining him in SM North EDSA Skydome is Korean-Australian soloist Leo.


'Alexander 23: American Boy In Asia' (June 11)

Singer-songwriter Alexander Glantz, better known as Alexander 23, takes on the Podium Hall in Mandaluyong City.


'Pintog: Virgin Labfest 19' (June 12 to 16)

The annual festival of untried, untested, unstaged one-act plays jointly produced by the Cultural Center of the Philippines, Tanghalang Pilipino Foundation Inc. and The Writer's Bloc will be staged in Tanghalang Ignacio Gimenez or CCP Black Box Theater.


Vaultboy (June 13)

American singer-songwriter Vaultboy will drop by the Ayala Malls Market! Market! Activity Center as part of his ongoing Asia tour.


'Carmina Burana' (June 14 and 15)

National Artist Alice Reyes oversees once more her adaptation of Carl Orff's beloved cantata with the Philippine Philharmonic Orchestra, the Philippine Madrigal Singers, and soprano Lara Maigue. Also featured in the Samsung Performing Arts Theater shows are Reyes' "Dugso," Norman Walker's "Summer's End" and August "Bam" Damian's "After Whom."


TOYCON: Evolution (June 14 to 16)

The annual toy convention marks its 21st year in SMX Convention Center MOA in Pasay City with the best of pop culture and a collector's market focusing on creativity and invention


'I Love You, You're Perfect, Now Change' (June 14 to 16, 21 to 23, 28 to 30)

Repertory Philippines' adaptation of the longest-running off-Broadway musical revue begins its runs in Carlos P. Romulo Auditorium or RCBC Theater in Makati City.


Lucas (June 15)

Former NCT and WayV member Lucas will hold his first-ever solo fancon in New Frontier Theater in Quezon City.


Malay Music Fest 2024 (June 15 and 16)

Sponge Cola, Gloc-9, and Parokya headline this annual two-day festival in Cove Manila in Okada celebrating Original Pinoy Music with established and emerging artists.


Solar: Colours (June 16)

Solar, leader of K-pop girl group Mamamoo, will perform in The Theatre at Solaire, having last been in the country with the group last year for its sold-out concert in Araneta Coliseum.


Wacken Metal Battle Philippines (June 16)

For the third consecutive year, Wacken Metal Battle Philippines is launching the search for the country's representative to the biggest metal festival Wacken Open Air.


'David Foster & Friends: Hitman' (June 18)

Award-winning music producer David Foster is coming back to Manila after including the Philippines in his "David Foster & Friends" Asia Tour, and joining him in Araneta Coliseum are his wife Katharine McPhee, Brian McKnight, All-4-One, and local artists JV Decena and Joaquin Garcia.


'Suho: Welcome SuHome' (June 22)

EXO member Suho is coming back to the Philippines as part of his upcoming Asia tour, performing in Araneta Coliseum.


Byeon Woo-seok (June 22)

On the same day in the neighboring New Frontier theater, Korean actor-model Byeon Woo-seok will be gathering with fans at his own fan meet.


'Bawat Bonggang Bagay' (June 22 and 23, 28 to 30)

A Filipino translation of Duncan Macmillan with Jonny Donahoe's "Every Brilliant Thing," starring Jon Santos, in Samsung Performing Arts Theater in Makati City runs for a limited time.


'ABBA Revisited' (June 28)

North America's leading tribute to ABBA recreates the magic of the global phenomenon's music, with their excellent showmanship and on-point costumes and harmonies. Wendy's Project serves as the opening act for the one-night show in The Theater at Solaire.


'Ice Seguerra: Videoke Hits: The Repeat' (June 28)

Asia's Acoustic icon Ice Seguerra rocks the Music Museum in San Juan City in an interactive sing-along concert, moved from its original June 1 date.


'BINI: BINIverse' (June 28 to 30)

After months of massive success, P-pop girl group BINI will stage its first-ever solo concert in New Frontier Theater.

MANILA, Philippines — April brings on the summer heat and excitement, with no shortage of enjoyable shows and concerts to attend throughout the country.

Musicals dominate the month as one famous international production returns to the Philippines after over two decades, while local theater companies stage original productions sure to capture the hearts of many.

Here are several of the concerts, events and productions happening in April (minor spoiler, Saturday the 13th is a PACKED date):


'Miss Saigon' (whole of April except Mondays)

Boublil and Schönberg's iconic musical set during the Vietnam War where a bargirl has a relationship with an American marine continues its run at the Theater in Solaire nearly the entire month.


'Monet & Friends Alive' (whole of April except Mondays and the 30th)

The multi-sensory experience of French painter Claude Monet and other artists of the Impressionist era ends its run in the BGC Arts Center this April.


'Red-Ol-Mania' (April 6)

Red Ollero headlines a comedy set in the Samsung Performing Arts Theater in Makati, featuring rising stars in the local stand-up comedy scene.


'Kaia: Kaiaversity' (April 6)

P-pop girl group Kaia celebrates its second anniversary with a fan concert at the Music Museum in San Juan.


'BaRaptasan' Grand Finals (April 6)

The Cultural Center of the Philippines Kanto Kultura BaRaptasan Grand Finals is going to be held in Rizal Park Open-Air Auditorium in Manila to mark the 100th anniversary of Balagtasan, in honor of Filipino poet Francisco Balagtas. The show promises a modern twist on word jousting.


'Ikon: Get Back' (April 7)

Korean boy band Ikon returns to the Philippines with its "Limited Tour" by staging a "Get Back" concert in the Araneta Coliseum.


James Taylor (April 8)

James Taylor is performing in the Philippines after previously canceling his 2017 concert. He will be joined by his All-Star Band in the Mall of Asia Arena in Pasay City. 


'Umi: Talking to the Wind' (April 11)

American singer-songwriter Umi returns to the Philippines to promote her latest extended play "Talking to the Wind" in Samsung Hall in Taguig.


'Randy Santiago: Eyecon' (April 12)

"Mr. Private Eyes" Randy Santiago will hold a one-night Concert Party in the Philippine International Convention Center (PICC) Plenary Hall with fellow concert veterans Pops Fernandez, Juan Miguel Salvador, Gino Padilla, Nina and Rachel Alejandro as well as a some of Original Pinoy Music (OPM) newcomers.


'One More Chance the Musical' (April 12 to 14, 19 to 21, 26 to 28)

The Philippine Educational Theater Association adapts the 2007 film "One More Chance" into a musical using the songs of local band Ben&Ben.


Kim Seon Ho (April 13)

Korean actor Kim Seon-ho is coming back to the Philippines for a fan meet in Mall of Asia Arena, his fourth time visiting the country in just over a year.


'Neocolours: Tuloy Pa Rin Ang Awit ng OPM' (April 13)

The OPM group behind hits like "Tuloy Pa Rin," "Maybe" and "Say You'll Never Go" joins forces with Gloc-9, Noel Cabangon, Ice Sueguerra and Jinky Vidal in Music Museum.


'Baekhyun: Lonsdaleite' (April 13)

EXO member Baekhyun brings his solo Asia tour "Lonsdaleite" — his first in-person solo concert in over a decade since debuting — to the Araneta Coliseum.


'Whee In' (April 13)

Mamamoo member Whee In brings her first-ever world tour to the SM North EDSA Skydome the same day she releases her mini-album "Redd."


'ZCON' (April 13)

"Asia's Vocal Supreme" Katrina Velarde leads Filipino Gen Z singers Khimo Gumatay, JM Yosures, Reiven Umali and Sam Mangubat in a concert in Makati's Samsung Performing Arts Theater. 


Lola Amour (April 13 and 27)

Local band Lola Amour is holding two album launches, one in Makati's Circuit Event Grounds and another in Cebu's Draft Punk, following the release of its eponymous debut album.


'Janella Salvador: Reimagined' (April 19)

Actress-singer Janella Salvador marks the delayed 10th anniversary of her being in the show business with a concert at the New Frontier Theater that also features her mother Jenine Desiderio, Martin Nievera, Darren Espanto, her "Darna" co-star Jane de Leon, her former love team partner Mario Mortel, and drag queens Arizona Brandy, Brigiding, Lady Morgana and M1ss Jade So.


'Philippine Philharmonic Orchestra: Fete Francaise' (April 19)

The conclusion of the Philippine Philharmonic Orchestra's 39th season under Maestro Grzegorz Nowak in Samsung Performing Arts Theater.


'Jeremy Passion and Gabe Bondoc: Parallels' (April 20)

R&B singers Jeremy Passion and Gabe Bondoc return to the Philippines by bringing their "Paralles" tour to the Music Museum after going around Australia.


JR Richards (April 20)

Dishwalla's original vocalist JR Richards is having a concert in SM North EDSA Skydome.


Boys Like Girls (April 20)

Rock band Boys Like Girls returns to the Philippines just two years after performing in Manila and Cebu. This time, the band is hitting the Araneta Coliseum — the only arena-level show of its 2024 Southeast Asia tour — with special guests We The Kings.


We The Kings (April 20)

Speaking of We The Kings, the rock band will have its own concert in SMX Convention Center Davao, a decade after the band's last Philippine solo concert.


'Awit ng Panahon: Noon at Ngayon' (April 21)

An era-encompassing concert in New Frontier Theater headlined by Hajji Alejandro, Rachel Alejandro, Gino Padilla and Kris Lawrence.


Incubus (April 25)

Incubus has included Manila as one of its stops in its 2024 concert tour, having last visited in February 2018 at the same venue the band will be performing at this year, the Araneta Coliseum.


'Debbie Gibson: Electric Youth' (April 26)

Pop singer-songwriter Debbie Gibson heads to the New Frontier Theater to mark the 35th anniversary of her album "Electric Youth."


'Buruguduystunstugudunstuy: Ang Parokya Ni Edgar Musical' (April 26 to 28)

"Buruguduystunstugudunstuy," a musical based on the songs by popular Filipino rock band Parokya ni Edgar begins its run in Newport Performing Arts Theater in Pasay City. 


FreenBecky (April 27)

Thai "GAP: The Series" stars Freen Sarocha and Rebecca "Becky" Armstrong return to Manila for a fan meeting in New Frontier Theater in what will be the pair's fifth visit to the Philippines.


Kuh Ledesma (April 27)

Singer-actress Kuh Ledesma will stage a concert in Winford Resort & Casino with special guests Nathan Randal and David Young.
