Kapuso actress Barbie Forteza is gearing up to celebrate Valentine’s Day solo once more, and she’s perfectly fine with her own company.

For Barbie, flying solo on Valentine’s isn’t an issue—she relishes her cherished ‘me’ time and sees it as a special way to mark the occasion.
"I do have plans for Valentine's Day, but I will spend it by myself, as I did last year. Mahilig ako mag 'me' time. Parang yun na rin ang way ko to celebrate Valentine's Day. (I like to have 'me' time. That's my way of celebrating Valentine's Day)," said Barbie during an interview at the 81st birthday bash of veteran star Boots Anson Roa-Rodrigo in Greenhills recently.
Asked if she’s ready for romance, Barbie revealed, “I’m definitely open to love again. My heart is full, and I’m always ready to give and receive love. It’s a wonderful feeling to know you’re capable of loving and being loved.”
Barbie, 28, expressed gratitude for 2026, calling it a continuation of the good things that came her way in 2025

"I am happy. Maganda naman ang umpisa ng taon ko. Ipapalabas na siya (Until She Remembers) on Feb. 25. (My year is off to a good start. 'Until She Remembers' will be released on Feb. 25.) We will have our Red Carpet premiere on Feb. 19 at SM North EDSA The Block at 5 p.m.
"Parang naging continuance ng aking 2025 ang 2026 kasi itong Until She Remembers, I shot this last year. Thankfully, may mga movie pa na in the works. May TV show rin. (2026 is like a continuation of my 2025 because of 'Until She Remembers,' I shot this last year. Thankfully, there are more movies in the works. There's also a TV show)," she added.
Barbie also shared what she enjoyed most about working with Boots on their upcoming movie.
"The grace that she provides everyone and her professionalism. Up until now, her enthusiasm for the craft and pag-arte. Yung pakikisama rin niya sa lahat. Bukod sa natutunan ko, yun ang na-enjoy ko. Nakatrabaho na siya sa 'Mano Po: Legacy' pero hindi po kami nagkaroon ng eksena. "His company with everyone. Aside from what I learned, that's what I enjoyed. He worked with me in 'Mano Po: Legacy' but we didn't have a scene together. (How she deals with everyone. Aside from what I learned, that's what I enjoyed. I worked with her in 'Mano Po: Legacy' but we didn't have a scene together)," she said.
Barbie said she was starstruck when she learned she'll be working with Boots and Charo Santos.
"Noong una kong nalaman kung sino ang mga makakasama ko, sa bahay pa la ng siyempre starstruck na ako agad kung paano ko gagawin ito. I made sure that once I stepped on the set, dapat talagang ready na ako. Mahirap na hindi ma starstruck, but I really did my best na maging professional sa shoot. (When I first found out who my cast would be, right at home, of course, I was immediately starstruck about how I would do it. I made sure that once I stepped onto the set, I was fully ready. It's hard not to be starstruck, but I really did my best to be professional on the shoot.)"
On working with Charo, Barbie said she learned several things. "Natutunan ko sa kanya omn how to handle people on the set. Bukod sa napakahusay niyang actress, mahusay din siyang producer. So, how to manage people on the set and everyone's expectations? Kahit na artista sya dito, nakikita ko ang kanyang pagiging producer on the set. Nakikita ko kung gaano siya ka-organize, strict in the best way. She keeps everyone on their toes. Sa set lahat kami parang ready to work. (I learned from her how to handle people on the set. Aside from being a great actress, she's also a great producer. So, how to manage people on the set and everyone's expectations? Even though she's an actress here, I see her being a producer on the set. I see how organized she is, strict in the best way. On set, we all seem ready to work.)"
"I hope to achieve lahat ng na-achieve kahit half lang. Pero sa ngayon, I am enjoying my journey in showbiz. (I hope to achieve everything they achieved, even if it's only half. But for now, I am enjoying my journey in showbiz)," Barbie added.

Lover or loved? Confessions from Anne Curtis, Jericho Rosales, and Catriona Gray

During a public media conference held at Robinsons Ermita, the three stars reflected on the experience of giving and receiving love.

Jericho said, "(I'm a) lover. But on certain days, I am also the loved one. But recently, I taught myself to receive love. This time, I am learning to be the loved one."

Anne answered, "I guess a little bit of both, because while it takes a lot to love a crazy Aquarius like myself, if you end up loving someone who loved me, and if you really love me, the loved one, and when that happens, I give so much love. Hence, I became the lover."

Catriona remarked, "Maybe, I'm the lover. I'm a very loving person."

Celebrating love on and off screen

Produced by Cornerstone Studios and Viva Films, "The Loved One" explores the beauty and challenges of loving and being loved, both on and off screen. It also marks Catriona's first try at acting.

"It was great. Maybe, I was nervous going into it because I respect them both (Anne and Jericho). It was such an enjoyable experience. I was observing how everything goes," the former Miss Universe said, adding that she was amazed at how Jericho and Anne prepared for scenes.

On Catriona's acting, director Irene Emma Villamor (Sid & Aya: Not a Love Story, Meet Me in St. Gallen) said, "She's very instinctive. At first, she was hesitant about acting. She said, 'Direk, I only know how to be excited and happy.' That's how she usually is as a host, right? She's serious about going into acting."

Responding to the director's statement, Catriona said, "I really admire Direk Irene. I love her energy. It was an incredible experience for me. Everyone was so kind and accommodating. I am proud that this is my first acting stint. It's a beautiful story, that's why I said yes to the project."

Director Irene encouraged moviegoers to immerse themselves in the film’s story of love and connection while watching it in the cinema.

"There are moments of thrill and pain. When you're happy, maybe you'll only shed a few tears. But it's different if you're not happy right now.

"If you're on your cellphone while watching this movie, you'll miss out on the experience. You need to have full attention. That's the kind of experience you'll only get in the cinema," she said.

"The Loved One" follows the quiet, high-stakes reunion of former lovers Ellie (Anne Curtis) and Eric (Jericho Rosales), who meet 10 years after their final goodbye.

As Eric waits, he retraces fragmented memories of their relationship, searching for the exact moment they began to fall apart.

The film experience is a celebration of love itself, serving as a poignant guide for anyone who has ever navigated the complexities of a relationship. It poses the haunting questions that linger after every great love: In every relationship, have we ever asked ourselves whether we are the lover or the loved one?

Heightening the romantic experience, the film features the Billboard Philippines Hot100 song "Multo" by Cup of Joe as its sonic heartbeat. The track perfectly mirrors a narrative in which memories refuse to stay buried.

Miss Universe Philippines Tacloban has announced that Filipino-Indian Jacqueline Gulrajani has been chosen as the province's official representative in the prestigious national pageant later this year.

Jacqueline was welcomed by Mags Cue, Miss Universe Philippines Vice President for Global and National Search, and Rachelle Erica Chua Pineda, Local Director of Miss Universe Philippines Tacloban, during a media conference in Quezon City recently. The Viva artist said she is excited to meet her pageant sisters.
"I'm very excited to meet them. Last year, I had the opportunity to host the swimsuit competition backstage. I got to meet the girls. This year, I'm sure we will have a lot of amazing ladies with their specific advocacies. I cannot wait to meet them and learn from them," she said.
This is the first time Jacqueline is joining a national pageant, though she said she never really expected to compete in the Miss Universe Philippines contest. "I think things are just aligning this year. Now I understand that this platform is powerful. I really think this year is definitely it."
Asked how old she is, the beauty queen answered, "I feel very young."
Jacqueline also said she asked Viva Films for permission to join the competition "so there's no problem." She mentioned Miss Universe 2025 third runner-up as her favorite beauty queen.
A mentor, educator, host, and model, Jacqueline is the daughter of a saleslady and a businessman. Her mother had her at 18 and chose motherhood over college.
Growing up, Jacqueline learned at an early age the quiet cost women pay when access to education and representation is limited.
Born and raised in Tacloban, Jaqueline later moved to Manila after graduating from the University of the Philippines, with P10,000, a broken suitcase, and a borrowed place to stay.
Jacqueline applied for a one-day hiring role the next morning and worked her way from taking calls to leadership roles, mentoring emerging and senior leaders along the way.
Alongside her corporate career, she began modeling and hosting, building her name as Jacqy Raj while sharing beauty and skincare content to help young women make more informed choices.
These experiences shape Jacqueline’s advocacy today, grounded in a vision of a world where women are free to choose themselves through access to education.
Higherley provides access to education and skills, empowering people to build a living of their own. In Pen & Pearl, she writes stories that speak to readers as they heal their inner child.

“As Miss Universe Philippines Tacloban continues to rise, it stands as a testament to unity, vision, and unwavering dedication," said Rachelle. "Tacloban City moves forward with pride and confidence. Tacloban is ready. Tacloban will be seen."

Welcome to Hell University: Where survival is the curriculum

The cast of 'Hell University' (Viva One)

By Robert Requintina

Published Jan 23, 2026 02:46 pm

This February, Viva One proudly presents "Hell University"—a new series co-produced by Studio Viva and WEBTOON Productions that promises to elevate the thrill like never before.

Written by KnightInBlack, "Hell University" began as a Wattpad webnovel and has amassed 182 million reads to date. In 2017 and 2018, it topped Psicom Publishing's bestseller lists in paperback form. KnightInBlack now boasts over three million followers across Wattpad and social media, with 17 stories accumulating more than 330 million reads.

At Hell University, tuition is free and meals are provided—but it's a secret institution beyond the reach of government laws. Violence is so normalized that there's a designated Bloody Night, from 7 PM to 5 AM, when even murder is permitted.

Hidden from the outside world, Hell University ensnares six adventurous friends who are inadvertently enrolled. Inside, they are caught in the crossfire of two deadly rival gangs—the Black Blood Gang and the Devil God Warriors—whose feud is steeped in the school’s dark history.

Heart Ryan (Da Pers Family, Ang Mutya ng Section E) stars as Zein—a feisty, courageous, and slightly reckless leader whom her friends admire. Determined to protect those she cares about, Zein’s fight for survival brings her face-to-face with the enigmatic student council president known as "Supremo."

Zeke Polina (Ang Mutya ng Section E) portrays Supremo—real name Ace Craige—a man of few words with an undeniable command over the school. His warnings are never taken lightly; to ignore them is to risk your life.

Zein’s friends are played by Andre Yllana as Matt, who secretly harbors feelings for Zein; Gabbi Ejercito as Mia, the group's kindest soul who stands up for her friends; Derick Ong as Dave, Matt’s loyal best friend; and Jastine Lim as Vanessa, the smart, outspoken member who shares a mutual affection with Jerome.

The cast also introduces Gabbi Ejercito and Jac Abellana as young showbiz royalties—Gabbi plays Mia, while Jac takes on the role of Jerome, the group’s playful and dependable companion.

Following the success of Avenues of the Diamond, Aubrey Caraan and Lance Carr return to the screen. Lance Carr plays Raze, the masked leader of the Devil God Warriors, whose striking red eye hints at a secret identity that will stun everyone. Aubrey Caraan embodies Samantha, a mysterious student deeply connected to the unfolding events at the school.

Keagan De Jesus portrays Nazzer, the deceptively nerdy and innocent-looking leader of the Black Blood Gang. His charming demeanor is simply a mask for his dangerous true self. Jemima Rivera stars as Nicky, the sole female member—and queen—of the Black Blood Gang.

At the cast reveal last November, director Bobby Bonifacio, Jr. shared his pride in the carefully selected actors, chosen through auditions and go-sees, who are working closely together to bring the characters from page to the University” opens on Viva One.

Popular game show host Willie Revillame dismissed rumors about his financial difficulties following his loss in the 2025 senatorial elections.

At the launch of his upcoming game show, Wilyonaryo, at Seda Hotel in Quezon City on Jan. 20, Willie expressed surprise at the origin of these rumors.
"Hindi totoo yun eh. Minsan natatawa na lang ako eh or kung saan nila kinukuha yun. Hindi mo alam kung kino-content ka or may galit sayo. (That's not true. Sometimes I just laugh or wonder where they get that from. You don't know if they're making fun of you or if someone's angry with you.)"
"Ganito lang yun eh. Kung meron kang property na may nagkagusto at kikita ka ng doble, hindi mo ba ibebenta? So mag-i-invest ka uli. (It's simple: if you own a property that someone wants and you can make double the profit by selling, why wouldn't you? Then you reinvest)," the popular showbiz personality said.
Willie explained that he referenced some of his properties not to boast, but to clarify that he is not struggling financially.
"May bago akong resort sa Puerto Galera. May pinapaganda ako roon na high-end hotel. Meron akong biniling dalawang floor sa isang penthouse sa BGC. Buong floor hindi lang isang unit. May 800 square meters each. May binili rin akong apat na unit sa isang condominium sa tapat ng mall sa BGC. (I have a new resort in Puerto Galera. I'm renovating a high-end hotel there. I bought two floors in a penthouse in BGC. The whole floor, not just one unit. It's 800 square meters each. I also bought four units in a condominium across from the mall in BGC.)"
"Isa lang ang naibenta kong property sa Tagaytay kasi sobrang laki. Hindi ko na rin maasikaso. May tatlo akong chopper. May yate pa rin ako na binili ko ng $10 million or P580 million. (I only sold one property in Tagaytay because it was too big. I can't take care of it anymore. I have three choppers. I still have a yacht that I bought for $10 million or P580 million)."
"Ayoko na sanang sabihin ito baka sabihin ninyo nagyayabang ako. Kaso gusto kong sabihin na hindi naman ako naghihirap. Pinaghirapan ko ang mga ito. (I don't want to say this because you might say I'm bragging. But I want to say that I'm not suffering. I worked hard for these properties)," Willie said.
Willie expressed gratitude to the television networks that trusted him with game shows and gave him these opportunities. Most importantly, he was deeply appreciative of the unwavering support from the Filipino masses.
"Kaya pinasasalamatan ko ang ABS-CBN, TV5, GMA, at ALLTV. Lahat ng ito ay buong loob na tinulungan ako. Pero siyempre ang pinaka-importante sa lahat ay yung mga tao na sumuporta sa lahat ng programa ko. Kung hindi dahil sa kanila lalo na yung mahihirap at masa wala ako. Kapag ayaw sa'yo ng mga tao hindi ka magre-rate. (So I thanked ABS-CBN, TV5, GMA, and ALLTV. They really helped me. But of course the most important thing is the people who support all my programs. Your shows will not rate if they don't like you)," the Wilyonaryo host said.
On love life, Willie remarked, "Zero. Walang saysay. HIndi ko na naisip yun eh. (It's zero. It's nonsense. I don't think about it anymore.)"
Willie will turn 65 on Jan. 27. Asked about his birthday wish, he answered: "Wala na akong wish eh. Siguro maging successful lang ito okay na ako. Siguro maging masaya lang tayo at matapos na ang problema natin sa bansa. Hindi talaga tayo aasenso hangga't may partido. Sobrang kawawa tayo. Kapag naging successful ang show na ito, tutulungan ko ang gobyerno, lalo na ang ating mga mahihirap na kababayan. (I don't have any wishes anymore. Maybe if this show is successful, I'll be okay. Maybe we can just be happy, and our problems in the country will be over. We won't really progress if we are divided. If this show is successful, I will help the government, especially our poor countrymen.)"
Wilyonaryo
Willie promises life-changing prizes, endless excitement, and the opportunity for every Filipino to dream bigger as he returns to host Wilyonaryo.
Kuya Wil is set to open a new chapter in Philippine game shows, bringing fun and winning opportunities directly to households nationwide. Originally planned as an online streaming show similar to today’s popular e-gaming platforms, Wilyonaryo was later offered airtime by the Kapatid Network. The show will debut on Jan. 25—two days before the “pambansang kuya” turns 65—via its official website, wilyonaryo.com.
“Wilyonaryo” is not just another game show. Alongside his beloved games, Kuya Wil introduces “WILPICK,” a raffle-style game that lets anyone from Luzon, the Visayas, or Mindanao try their luck for life-changing prizes.
Approved by the Philippine Amusement and Gaming Corporation (PAGCOR), “WILPICK” gives Filipinos across the country the chance to win millions without even leaving their homes.
Previously, his show’s contestants had to be in the studio to try their luck at opening the boxes. Now, participants can join from the comfort of their homes and still have a chance to become millionaires.
(This is truly the next level. We’ve innovated by combining my world of game shows with online gaming, so winning isn’t limited to those in the studio. We’re giving our fellow Filipinos from all over the country a fair chance. They just need to visit our website, wilyonaryo.com, to register and avail of tickets. They could be selected to win not just one, two, or three million, but even more.)”
During the Wilyonaryo Grand Press Conference, Kuya Wil gave the media a preview of how WILPICK is played. The mechanics are simple: players must first register at wilyonaryo.com. Once registered, they can buy tickets using their chosen combination.
They will select four non-repeating letters from A to Z and one color from 12 options. The player with the correct combination and sequence of the four letters and one color wins millions.
There are also consolation prizes for players who match some of the letters and colors revealed in the boxes. From Monday to Friday, there are three raffle draws each day, and a ticket costs just ₱60, giving you three chances to win.
“Mahigit dalawang dekada na akong game show host, pero hindi pa rin nagbabago ang hangarin ko na kahit papaano ay mabigyan ng panalo sa buhay ang mas maraming Pilipino (I've been a game show host for over two decades, but my goal has never changed, to give as many Filipinos as possible a chance to win in life),” Willie said.
That’s why I created and carefully prepared ‘Wilyonaryo,’ because I'm confident that many Filipinos will win).”
In celebration of Kuya Wil’s 65th birthday, Wilyonaryo will premiere on Sunday, Jan. 25, at 7 p.m. It’s his birthday, but he’s the one giving gifts to the viewers. There’s so much more to look forward to, so register now at wilyonaryo.com, avail of tickets, watch the show, and find out if you’ll be the program’s very first millionaire.
To stay updated on Kuya Wil’s surprises, follow and subscribe to Wilyonaryo’s official social media accounts.

Han Lamarroza is PH bet for Mrs. Asia Pacific 2025 pageant

Mrs. Asia Pacific Global Philippines 2025 Han Lamarroza has left for Singapore to compete in the Mrs. Asia Pacific 2025 beauty pageant.

Before she left for the competition, Han met several members of the pageant press during a media conference where she enthusiastically answered questions on topics ranging from pageantry to current issues.
Media: If you could delete one thing from our world to make it a better place, what would it be?
Han: If I could delete one thing from our world, it would be indifference. When people start caring, injustice grows, inequality deepens, and compassion disappears, but when we choose to care, whether for our community, our environment, or for one another. We create a world where no one is left behind. And even small acts of care can spark extraordinary change.
Media: In your opinion, what makes a person beautiful?
Han: A person becomes wonderful when their character shines brighter than their appearance. Beauty is found in kindness, resilience, and the courage to rise after failure. It is the ability to inspire others through authenticity and compassion. For me, beauty is not just seen...it is felt through the goodness a person shares with the world.
Media: If you were the president of the Philippines, what would you do to corrupt officials?
Han: To those involved in corruption, I would ensure that justice is served, no extensions, no exceptions; every case must be investigated, and every guilty individual must be held accountable because true leadership means protecting the people, not the corrupt.
Media: If you were given the chance to teach children about something, what would it be and why?
Han: I would teach them resilience, because a child who believes in themselves can change their future and even the world.
Media: What qualities do you possess as the next Mrs. Asia Pacific title holder?
Han: I carry the qualities of resilience, purpose, and heart. I’m resilient because life tested me, yet I rise stronger each time. I have a purpose not just to represent beauty, but to inspire courage and hope. And I lead with heart, knowing that true leadership begins with compassion.
Mrs. Asia Pacific Global Philippines 2025 Han Lamarroza and family in Singapore.
Mrs. Asia Pacific Global Philippines 2025 Han Lamarroza and family in Singapore.
Media: Why do you consider yourself an empowered woman?
Han: I consider myself empowered because I choose growth over fear and purpose over perfection. As a mother, professional, and advocate. I use my voice to uplift others, and when a woman empowers others, she becomes unstoppable.
Media: How do you balance humility with the confidence required to compete in a pageant?
Han: I balance confidence and humility by knowing who I am and why I am here. Confidence comes from preparation, and humility from gratitude. And together they let me honor my purpose while carrying the hopes of those who believe in me.
Media: If you could introduce one new category in pageantry, what would it be?
Han: I would introduce a 'community impact challenge' to show how candidates create real change. Pageantry should reflect action, compassion, and leadership because a crown shines brightest when it lights someone else's life.

Dawn Zulueta enjoying her life away from showbiz: 'I am happy'

By Robert Requintina

Undoubtedly, Dawn Zulueta-Lagdameo possesses one of the most radiant and enchanting faces in Philippine showbiz, capturing the hearts of many. At this moment, she has gracefully stepped away from the spotlight, dedicating her time to the warmth and joys of family life. However, she has not entirely closed the door on her illustrious career, leaving the possibility of a triumphant return to the limelight.

When asked what would encourage her to return to showbiz, Dawn replied, "I think it's a nice project. There have been offers, but no script has really excited me."
It seems that Dawn is currently enjoying her time away from showbiz, bonding with her family, traveling, and exploring new things.
"I'm very happy. I like it. I was able to explore my other interests. I have time with my kids. I have time to travel because my son is studying abroad. So I get to see him and also attend Ayisha (Madlen Lagdameo). I am happy," said Dawn, during the 40th anniversary of Marie France at Uma Nota in BGC,  Taguig City, recently. This is the first time Dawn and her daughter, Ayisha Madlen, have appeared together in an endorsement.
The last time Dawn appeared in a movie was in "Family History" opposite comedian Michael V. in 2019.
Lately, Dawn shared that she and her daughter have become immersed in the vibrant world of K-pop. She said her daughter was six when she fell in love with K-pop. They are both fervent admirers of the electrifying beats and dazzling performances of BTS and Blackpink, reveling in the energy and artistry that these iconic groups bring to the stage.
"Noong time na yun hindi ko pa naiintindihan. Then naging uso na sila with the dances, natuwa ako sa daughter ko and nakisabay talaga ako sa kanya. Before I knew it, nagustuhan ko na rin ang mga K-pop. (At that time, I didn't understand it. Then they became trendy with the dances. I was happy for my daughter, and I really kept up with her. Before I knew it, I also liked K-pop)," Dawn said.
Dawn crossed her fingers that she and her daughter could secure tickets for the BTS concert, tentatively scheduled for March 2026.
“I enjoy K-pop because it brings me back to when I was a teenager. I remember what it was like then, so much energy. And it's their music, the artistry, I think they are killing the choreography. They are so popular, everywhere they go," said Dawn when asked why she loves K-pop.
The teen ballerina also said that she was excited to watch the Blackpink concert in Bulacan last weekend.
"I really love spending time with my mom. She's a fun person to be with. I see her as someone I could talk to about anything. She's a cool mom," said Ayisha.

Responding, Dawn smiled and said, "I try to be cool."
Growing up, Ayisha said she would accompany her mom to shoots. "I thought it was fun. I like watching her act. It inspired me to pursue the arts."
Ayisha mentioned that while showbiz seems exciting, she is more interested in dancing.
"Her priority right now is her studies. But it's up to her what she wants to do after college," the celebrity mom said.
Dawn, now in her 50s, admits she is a strict mom. "Pretty much."
On young men trying to court Ayisha, Dawn laughed and said, "I don't deal with that. Anton (Lagdameo) deals with that. Sa mga manliligaw, si husband ang bahala d'yan. (For suitors, my husband will take care of that.)"
Dawn said she prayed for a daughter who would be interested in dancing like her.
"I've always dreamed of a daughter who could dance. When she was still in my stomach, I was saying, 'I hope she likes to dance the way I want to dance. Fortunately, she does. She's so much better at doing it than I am," she said.
Dawn shared her enjoyment with her daughter on TikTok, although she clarified that she doesn't have an account.
"I want to take this opportunity to let you know that I don't have a TikTok account. Ayisha has an account, but I love the dances on TikTok," she also said.
On aging gracefully, Dawn remarked, "Aging gracefully, I stay away from toxic people or stress. I try to keep my private life really private. I focus on my family. We all know about eating well and drinking water. But I think it's more internal. It's what happens in your mind."

The sibling trio brought a fresh, infectious energy to the event, leaving everyone eager to get to know them better and see what they will contribute to the music scene.
Asked about the meaning behind their group name, the eldest, Ezri, explained, “DNA refers to the genetic kind of DNA, and we chose the name DNA because it represents our bond as sisters. We share the same DNA, music runs in our blood—it’s in our DNA.”
The group who just released their debut single, ‘Don’t Ask Me Why’, under ABS-CBN Music’s Star Pop label, available in all streaming platforms, described their sound as “... very pop, with some influences of R&B—a little bit more dance-pop, upbeat, with some rap and hip-hop influences also.”
Coming from a family of successful and renowned names in the music industry, DNA shared that each of them had their own early realizations about wanting to explore the same path—not a decision set by their parents, but quite the contrary.
Julia, who is the middle child, shared, “I think for all of us, we love performing. Like when we were younger, we would do runways, dance, and sing in different shows, but we never took it seriously. Ayaw talaga nila ni Mommy na mag-showbiz kami, so we found ways to perform na lang in school.”
Tasha, the youngest, added: “They didn’t directly said that they wanted it [for us], but we grew up around our Tita [Regine Velasquez-Alcasid] going to her concert, our dad with the musical arrangement so we’d watch and we’d want that too. They never pushed us to do any of it. It was just natural.”
“You can expect an EP or album around the second quarter next year, and we’re putting a lot of effort into preparing for it, so abangan!”
The group, with infectious energy, playfully exchanged snippets of their exciting plans for the future, illuminating how their branding is intricately woven into the fabric of their sibling bond.
Their distinctive style radiates charisma, while their performances captivate audiences, brimming with authenticity and genuine warmth.
It's truly inspiring to see how they remain grounded despite emerging from a lineage of musical legends, hinting at a bright and enduring career ahead in the competitive industry.
As their journey unfolds, excitement is abundant on the horizon, and the group hopes that more fans will join them, eagerly anticipating the remarkable adventures that lie ahead.

'The Devil Wears Prada 2' unveiled its anticipated first teaser on Wednesday.
Set to the tune of Madonna’s “Vogue,” the teaser gives nothing away in terms of the sequel’s plot, on which 20th Century Studios is still staying mum. It features Anne Hathaway‘s Andy Sachs walking into an elevator after Meryl Streep‘s Miranda Priestly, who tells her, “Took you long enough.”
Following up a beloved 2006 fashion-world dramedy starring Streep, Hathaway, Emily Blunt, and Stanley Tucci, all of whom are returning, the sequel is expected to examine high-fashion mag editor-in-chief Priestly’s perspective as she faces the decline of the print industry, according to a report by deadline.com.

Based on Lauren Weisberger’s 2003 novel of the same name, the original film followed Hathaway’s Andy, a journalism graduate, in her experiences after moving to New York City and starting her demanding job as Priestly’s junior assistant.
"The Devil Wears Prada 2" is scheduled for release in theaters on May 1, 2026.
