Davao Light and Power

The overall residential electricity rate of Davao Light decreased by P0.2164 per kilowatt hour (kWh) this January, bringing the rate down to P8.9894/kWh from P9.2058/kWh last month. This rate applies to bills received from January 11 to February 10.

The decrease is due to lower market prices from the Philippine Wholesale Electricity Spot Market (WESM) in Mindanao, a venue for trading electricity as a commodity, and where Davao Light sources a part of its power requirement.… See more
