As I get older, I’ve learned to value three things: my time, my peace, and my Iphone.

I no longer collect regrets, bad memories, or toxic people — my storage is already full. Most people say I’m “suplada.” Maybe because I’m quiet? But darling, if I’m not talking, I’m probably overthinking or judging silently.

I don’t eat everything, ayoko ng marumi, masikip at mabaho,. Stress na nga ang buhay, dadagdagan ko pa ba? I’m also very frank — what enters my brain usually exits my mouth without passing through customs.

But deep inside, I still care… even about the dull, the nonsense, and the idiots. I mean, surely the aliens haven’t fully possessed them yet… right?

Life is short, so I use it magically & wisely:

Laugh a lot

Exercise

Travel, and explore the nature

Have enough sleep.

Avoid drama whenever possible

And honestly? This is still a wonderful body and life to live in.

Leadership is NOT a license to turn up the volume of rhetoric.

Astute leaders know that sometimes, the smartest thing you can do is **surrender the floor** and actually listen. Because while everyone is busy preparing their next brilliant thing to say, they might be missing the brilliant things **other people are already saying.**

In this age of instant communication, everybody seems to be in such a hurry to express an opinion, make a point, or simply have the last word. But leadership isn't about who talks the most.

**Sometimes, the most powerful voice in the room is the one that knows when to be quiet.**

Show me a leader who refuses to listen, and I’ll show you a train wreck in the making.

And dear readers of **Pilya Blog Magazine**…

Do you sometimes feel like you want to discuss something, but the person opposite you simply **CANNOT LISTEN?**

You explain.

You clarify.

You repeat.

And somehow… they are already preparing their answer before you've even finished your sentence!
