MT. APO’S NATURAL WONDERS TAKE CENTER STAGE

Beyond being the Philippines’ highest peak, Mt. Apo is home to a remarkable array of geological wonders, according to the Department of Environment and Natural Resources (DENR) Davao Region.

Among its notable geosites are Lake Jordan, Pabudsaran Waterfalls, Lake Agco, Lake Maag, and the Mandangan Solfataras—showcasing the mountain’s unique crater lakes, geothermal fields, and breathtaking waterfalls.
