The Buhangin Underpass in Brgy. Buhangin, Davao City reopened to the public

 The Buhangin Underpass in Brgy. Buhangin, Davao City reopened to the public on Monday morning, May 11, 2026.

According to a Facebook post by the Department of Public Works and Highways (DPWH), this follows a directive from Ferdinand R. Marcos Jr. to improve road drainage systems to help prevent flooding, especially during the rainy season.
It is also expected to help ease traffic flow in the city.
