Daghang salamat, Philippine Women's College of Davao, the CEO & owner, t·
Humbly standing with the Philippine flag before me, proving that faithfulness and perseverance endure.
On behalf of our batch 2001, I felt a deep sense of earned respect, freedom, and dignity.
When my aunt Pres. Arch. Sylvia Puyod-Rieta, asked me to return home from Manila last year. To gather and prepare our batch as Silver Jubilarians Host. For the PWC Homecoming Celebration this past August 21, 2026, I set aside the job that I enjoyed doing the most. Wholeheartedly, our batch accepted and embraced it.
Though personally, when I was requested by my supportive mom Copep, aunt Sylvia and Tita Nelia Partoza to dance, I was initially hesitant. However, receiving the overwhelming support and blessings from our Class of 2001 left me deeply honored especially knowing our batch holds some of the most talented and graceful Bayanihan Dancers showcased around the world.
Rain or shine, along the way facing work-life balance with multiple battles in between. With the preparations, meetings, rehearsals, event proper. God sustained us and miracles happened. All the more those challenges have united and strengthened us. We did not gave up nor it did not stopped us from our Homecoming Celebration and a Mission for a cause to support and help communities.
Performing for a cause attended by 750 pax with an interpretive dance to "Bayan Ko" by Mr. Freddie Aguilar was deeply meaningful and symbolizing our collective journey from students to who we are today. For me personally, not only by the huge crowd but the impact remained valuable. It embodied the mission and vision of PWC of Davao for the bayanihan, camaraderie, working hand in hand, and giving back to uplift others. It spoke to the freedom, endurance, sacrifice, patience, courage, and leadership required to overcome fear, navigate life as a survivor of domestic violence for many years and only this year that I conquered the peace and freedom with my two beautiful children as a single parent was relieving.
Congratulations with deep gratitude to our dearest Diamond, Sapphire, Emerald, Golden, Ruby, Coral and Pearl Jubilarians!!!
