Newly Graduates in The Philippines

Congratulations and Salute to all new gratitudes in the Philippines!

(Personal: on this photo at the right is my niece Neneng Balcom, now being a civil engineer and having a job already...!)

But reality looks very different:

PNA Manila reports, that the Department of Labor and Employment (DOLE) Secretary Rosalinda D. Baldoz commented its tripartite partners - including labors and employers - for joining hands to provide over 30,000 job opportunities during the job and livelihood fairs that will be conducted in the National Capital Region and in 15 other regions in celebration of Labor Day on May 1.

The labor and employment chief said that Labor Day, in honor of the nation's workers, will be celebrated on May 1 on the theme "Matuwid na Daan Tungo sa Kaunlaran Para sa Lahat"!

"The job and livelihood fairs show our renewed national commitment to the righteous governance,anti-corruption, and anti-poverty focus of the Aquino III administration!" Baldoz said.

A lot of DOLE jobs fairs will provide many more opportunities to graduates and job seekers, i.e. in Cordillera Administration Region - SM Baguio, SM Naga City Region 6 (Western Visayas), and SM Davao, Gaisano Mall for Region XI, such to mention a few. Get more information from your local DOLE office.
