Three cyclones stir 'habagat'; death toll rises to 33

Parts of Luzon and the western section of the Visayas can expect rainy weather as three tropical cyclones continue to enhance the southwest monsoon or “habagat,” the Philippine Atmospheric, Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration (PAGASA) said on Monday, Aug. 31. Read more

Meanwhile, the Office of Civil Defense (OCD) recorded 33 deaths, 19 injured persons, and three missing individuals amid the effects of three tropical cyclones and the southwest monsoon. Read more
