⚠️ PREPARE FOR PROLONGED DRY CONDITIONS AND POSSIBLE WATER SHORTAGES
The United Nations Office for Disaster Risk Reduction (UNDRR), in its El Niño Climate Impact Outlook: Philippines, warns that strengthening El Niño may bring below-normal rainfall, higher temperatures, and worsening dry conditions in parts of the country.
Davao Region is among the areas facing potential risks from prolonged dry weather, including impacts on agriculture, water availability, livelihoods, and electricity demand.
