- Salome Salvi announces the dismissal of her obscenity case, revealing how the nearly yearlong legal battle affected her career and income.

Adult content creator Salome Salvi can finally put a nearly yearlong legal battle behind her after a court dismissed the obscenity case filed against her.
Salvi shared the development in a Facebook post on November 3, 2026, expressing relief over the outcome while recalling how the proceedings affected her work and income.
The complaint involved alleged violations of Article 201 of the Revised Penal Code, which covers obscene publications and exhibitions, in connection with Section 6 of Republic Act No. 10175, or the Cybercrime Prevention Act of 2012.
Although Salvi did not name the private organization behind the complaint, the case has been linked to the Kapisanan ng Social Media Broadcasters ng Pilipinas Inc. (KSMBPI).
Note the group was also reported to have filed a case against vlogger Brian "Tiyo Bri" Babilonia last year.
For Salvi, the legal proceedings came with professional setbacks. She revealed that she lost her podcast, which she described as a major source of income, and became discouraged from posting on social media, another platform through which she earned a living.
"Halos isang taon akong binulabog ng hinayupak na organization na yan," Salvi wrote.
She also expressed frustration over the length of the proceedings, emphasizing that it took almost a year before the case was finally resolved.
The actress did not hold back in criticizing the organization, sarcastically thanking it for taking up the time of other influencers and media personalities who, according to her, were also named in complaints despite keeping to themselves.
She also questioned the use of government resources, claiming that the case consumed the time of two prosecutors.
With the dismissal of the complaint, the actress says she can finally move forward after a legal ordeal that affected both her career and livelihood.
