PHILIPPINE AIRLINES CANCELS AND RESCHEDULES FLIGHTS AHEAD OF 49TH ASEAN SUMMIT IN MANILA.
Flag carrier Philippine Airlines (PAL) is cancelling and rescheduling several domestic and international flights in anticipation of increased airport activity during the upcoming 49th ASEAN Summit and Related Summits, scheduled in Manila from November 16 to 18, 2026.
In an advisory issued Friday, PAL announced that several flights to and from Manila scheduled between November 14 and 18, 2026, have been cancelled or rescheduled.
The adjustments are being implemented in preparation for the expected arrival and departure of foreign delegates, government officials, and other international participants attending the regional gathering.
Passengers travelling within these dates are strongly advised to check their flight status, monitor airline announcements, and verify their updated travel schedules before proceeding to the airport.
The ASEAN Summit is expected to bring increased movements at Manila's main gateway as the Philippines prepares to welcome delegates from across Southeast Asia and other participating countries.
Passengers are encouraged to coordinate directly with Philippine Airlines for rebooking options and further flight information.
