Mindanao politician tagged as financier of foiled smuggling of 520 kilos of shabu seized in Laos

The Philippine Drug Enforcement Agency (PDEA) has identified the financier of the more than 500 kilos of shabu that were supposed to be smuggled into the country using a private jet but was busted in Laos prior to the departure early this month. PDEA spokesman Joseph Frederick Calulut said that financier is a politician based in Mindanao. Read more
